The Bat v.3-5-25

1. Open 'The Bat' application
2. Select 'Properties' from the 'Account' menu.

3. Click the 'Transport' option in the list to the left.
4. Enter 'SMTP Server name' as: smtp-server.com.
5. Select the type of connection: 'Secure to regular port (STARTTLS)'
6. Enter the SMTP port number into the 'SMTP Port' field.

7. Click the [Authentication...] button.
8. Check the 'Perform SMTP Authentication' box.
9. Check the ' Use specific settings' box.
10. Enter SMTP User Name in the 'User' field.
11. Enter SMTP Password in the 'Password' field.
12. Click [OK].
